The secret of TexelWool

The secret of TexelWool is the pure new wool from the Texel sheep. A piece of pure nature that no synthetic product can match! The raw sheepskin contains wool grease. During the washing of TexelWool, most of this wool grease, or lanolin, is released. Part of the wool grease remains in the washed wool and keeps the fibres supple, resilient and flexible. The lanolin in pure new wool has a very beneficial effect on muscles and joints. Wool has therefore been known for its anti-rheumatic effect for centuries.

Anti-allergenic

Mould formation in TexelWool wool duvet, pillow and mattress protector is virtually impossible. Moulds not only need heat, but also a high degree of humidity. Because Texel sheep's wool is very breathable and regulates the temperature itself, moulds cannot nest in it.

Anti-dust mite

Because wool contains lanolin, wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial and dirt-repellent. Pure new wool in a duvet, pillow or mattress protector is also not a good environment for the dust mite, because wool breathes optimally and regulates the temperature and amount of moisture. If you ensure that your TexelWool duvet, pillow and mattress protector are aired regularly, the dust mite will not get a chance.
