With the Texels Classic Wool All Year Children's Duvet, you are purchasing a duvet that you are guaranteed to enjoy for years to come! The fill weight of this wool all year children's duvet is approximately 400 grams/m². The Texels Classic All Year Children's Duvet (warmth class 3) is most suitable for bedrooms with an average temperature of around 15 to 20 °C. For warmer sleepers or bedrooms, we recommend the wonderfully light and airy Texels Classic Summer Duvet (warmth class 4).

100% pure new wool

The wool all year children's duvet is filled with the best quality new wool, originating from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among others. A reason for the high quality of Texel new wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, which gives this wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texel new wool in the Texels Classic Wool All Year Children's Duvet is carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is then stitched as a continuous fleece in the longitudinal direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percale cotton ticking. This method of stitching allows the wool ample space to 'open up,' enabling optimal ventilation and preventing overheating. It also gives the Texels Classic wool duvet a wonderfully light feel, making the Texels Classic unique compared to other wool duvets.

A wonderfully soft and supple duvet

The ticking (cover) of this beautiful duvet is made of 100% percale cotton, BSCI certified! A very beautiful, soft fabric that ensures this duvet feels wonderfully soft and supple around you. Naturally, this ticking is wool-tight, preventing any uncomfortable wool hairs from poking through.

The All Year duvet is equipped with snap fasteners, making it easy to connect to other duvets from the Texels Classic Multi-Choice duvet collection. These snap fasteners are, of course, located on the side of the duvet so you never feel them. You can now easily purchase the All Year duvet first and later decide to also buy the Texels Classic Summer Duvet if you still feel too cold. Combining both duvets creates a wonderfully warm wool winter duvet (warmth class 1+).

The Texels Classic Multi-Choice collection consists of three other duvets, each available separately.

Anti-Allergenic

Our Texel new wool has a fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also high humidity. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry climate. Pure new wool is therefore not a favorable environment for house mites.

The lanolin makes the wool self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel new wool, the duvet always maintains its shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is impossible.

Naturally, this beautiful wool winter duvet features the Woolmark. With the Woolmark, you are assured that this duvet is filled with 100% pure new wool. The ticking (cover) of this duvet is Oeko-Tex certified and BSCI certified. Oeko-Tex guarantees that the tested and certified textiles are free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.

BSCI provides companies with a code of conduct that supports them in their efforts to establish an ethical supply chain. This code of conduct is based on international treaties that protect workers' rights. This involves the following key principles: socially responsible policy, freedom of association, working hours and overtime, non-discrimination, combating child labor and forced labor, special protection for young workers, payment of a minimum wage, provisions for a safe and healthy workplace, environmental protection, and no precarious employment.

100% natural and honest sleep comfort!

In composing this duvet, we have chosen a very high-quality ticking (cover) with a high thread count. In addition to the softness and suppleness of this fabric quality, another important argument is that we do not need to use a synthetic non-woven fleece. This fleece is for protection and to prevent the wool filling from poking through the ticking. With this, we can assure you that our duvet is indeed made from 100% natural materials.

Price cuttersoften choose a lower quality filling fiber and a cheaper ticking. They must therefore use a synthetic fleece. By using a non-woven ticking, they cut costs on the filling and ticking and accept that you will not be sleeping under a 100% pure natural duvet.

Transparency

We share this information with you for two reasons: firstly, because we always want to act honestly and transparently. Secondly, it does not do justice to a wool duvet.
