Wool Duvet All Year
With a wool all-year duvet, you choose balanced heat insulation. This is because the duvet breathes. Wool can retain heat in the bed better at night than any other filling material. At the same time, wool can absorb 35% of its own weight in moisture. This means you will never feel clammy sleeping under this fantastic duvet
A wool all-year duvet is the ideal duvet if you are a somewhat cold sleeper and the temperature of your bedroom fluctuates between 15 and 20 °C all year round. The fill weight of an all-year wool duvet is tailored so that you can sleep under this duvet all year round. Especially now that the temperature in bedrooms is much more manageable these days.
Care of a wool all-year
A wool all year round duvet never needs to be refilled. Additionally, the wool in a wool all year round duvet is dirt-repellent due to the presence of purified lanoline. Therefore, regularly airing out your wool all year duvet is enough to keep it fresh and in good shape.
Be sure not to place the duvet in direct sunlight. This can cause the wool to dry out. You can also take your wool duvet to the dry cleaner's. There, your duvet will be cleaned on the special wool programme. We strongly advise against hitting a wool all-year duvet with a carpet beater or vacuuming it.
The lifespan of a wool all-season duvet is also largely determined by its care. With normal care, you will enjoy the good quality duvet for about 10 years. Although it may still be excellent after that, it is actually due for replacement for hygienic reasons.
Unique in the world - Recycle with us!
Weids Living & Sleeping is pioneering sustainability in the sleep industry by being the first to implement a circular recycling program for sheep's wool!
When purchasing a wool duvet, you can request a free return sticker, with which you can send your old wool duvet back to us at our expense in the empty box. In our own recycling department, your wool duvet is fully recycled.
The wool is thoroughly washed and, after a strict quality control, circularly reused for other products, including beanbags for humans and animals. The duvet covers are removed and processed into, among other things, insulation material, cleaning cloths and building materials.
