The Texels Classic wool pillow has a 100% super soft percal cotton cover and it doesn't crinkle! Which is quite pleasant for your ears :-) The pillow is firmly filled with 100% pure sheep wool. Texel virgin wool naturally has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (= wool fat) content.
The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Per night, one loses about half a liter of moisture, often through the head. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, a wonderfully cool and dry sleeping climate is created.
Which filling? Wool balls or VulWol
With us, you can choose between wool pillows filled with wool balls and VulWol. Both fillings have their own specific properties:
Wool balls- The secret of the wool balls is their resilience. Our Texel virgin wool naturally has a beautiful fine crimp (curl). Twisted into wool balls, this provides firm and resilient support. VulWol- This unique VulWol, available nowhere else, has the special property that it can beshaped excellently. Wool pillow for stomach and back sleepers
You can easily adjust the height of the Texels Classic wool pillow by removing some wool filling. This makes the pillow less full and firm, making it particularly suitable for back and stomach sleepers.
Anti-allergenic
Mold formation in wool is virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, molds cannot nest in it. Thanks to lanolin, wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure virgin wool in a pillow is also not a favorable environment for dust mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. If you ensure your pillow is aired regularly, dust mites will not stand a chance.
Maintenance of the wool pillow - molton pillowcase
Thanks to the zipper, you can remove the wool from the pillow and wash the cover separately. The wool filling itself is of course not washable. It requires special treatment. Go to a dry cleaner for that.

In eerste instantie dacht ik dat het een miskoop was, want het kussen lag helemaal niet zo lekker als mijn oude voorgevormde koelblijvende kussen, waar ik lekker op lag, maar voor geen meter sliep. Op het wollen kussen slaap ik als een roos. Het is niet superzacht dat je er in wegzakt en ruikt een beetje naar schaap, maar ik slaap veel dieper. Heerlijk!

Ich habe das festere Kissen bestellt und konnte so Wolle entnehmen, um die entsprechende Höhe des Kissens individuell für mich anzupassen.
Nach zwei Nächten habe ich noch etwas Wolle entnommen und nun passt das Kissen perfekt für mich!
Der Schafgeruch der Wolle war wahrnehmbar, doch für mich nicht störend.
Zudem war der Geruch nach knapp einer Woche verflogen.
Habe jede Nacht erneut Freude auf dem Kissen zu schlafen ????!
