100% Pure Natural Sheep Wool

The Texels Classic woolen sheepskin cushion is firmly filled with pure sheep wool. Our Texel shear wool naturally has a beautiful fine crimp (curl) and a high lanolin (= wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our woolen cushions is therefore almost impossible. Molds need not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, a wonderfully cool and dry climate is created. Pure virgin wool is therefore not a pleasant environment for dust mites. The lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly'.

Which filling? Wool balls OR VulWol

With us, you can choose between wool cushions filled with wool balls and VulWol. Both fillings have their own specific properties:

• Wool balls - The secret of the wool balls is their resilience. Our Texel shear wool naturally has a beautiful fine crimp (curl). Rolled into wool balls, this provides firm and resilient support. Perfect if you are looking for a nice full and firm cushion. This cushion is particularly suitable for side sleepers.
• VulWol - This unique VulWol, available nowhere else, has the special property of being exceptionally moldable. Every evening before going to sleep, you can shape the cushion to your desired height and form with your shoulder. This way, you enjoy perfect support every night. At the same time, this is also good mental preparation for your body and mind, signaling that it's time to sleep -:) This cushion is the right choice for every type of sleeper.

Luxury wool fleece ticking, cover

One side of the ticking of this wonderfully woolen cushion is made of 100% cotton ticking, and the other side features wonderfully soft lamb's wool fleece for even better moisture and heat regulation! If you prefer to use the smooth cotton side, that's perfectly fine too, super practical, right! The cushion has a luxurious piping all around and a zipper on the short side, making it refillable. This also makes the cushion ideal as a children's pillow or for stomach sleepers.

Determine the height and firmness of your pillow yourself!

You can easily adjust the firmness or height of this wonderful cushion yourself by removing some filling or adding more. Loose bags of pillow filling can be ordered at an extra low price.

Anti-allergenic

Care of the woolen pillow - molton pillowcase

Thanks to the zipper, you can remove the wool from the pillow and wash the ticking/cover separately. The wool filling itself is obviously not washable. However, neither the pillowcase nor the wool filling can be washed by you. They require special treatment. Please take them to a dry cleaner.
