Wool All Year Duvet
With a wool all-year duvet, you're choosing balanced heat insulation. That's because a wool all-year duvet breathes. Wool can hold heat in the bed better than any other filling material at night. At the same time, wool can absorb 35% of its own weight in moisture. This means you'll never sleep in a clammy bed under a wool all-year duvet.
An all-year or all-season duvet is the ideal duvet if you tend to feel the cold a bit and the temperature of your bedroom fluctuates between 15 and 20 °C throughout the year. The filling weight of a wool all-year duvet is calibrated so that you can sleep under this duvet all year round. Especially now that the temperature in bedrooms is much more controllable these days.
A wool all-year duvet never needs refilling. Moreover, the wool in a wool all-year duvet is dirt-repellent due to the presence of purified lanolin. Regularly airing your wool all-year duvet is therefore enough to keep it fresh and in shape. Do make sure you don't put the duvet in direct sunlight, as this can cause the wool to dry out. You can also take your wool all-year duvet to the dry cleaner. There, your wool all-year duvet will be cleaned on the special wool programme. We strongly advise against hitting a wool all-year duvet with a carpet beater or vacuuming it.
