With the Texels Classic wool All Year duvet, you are purchasing a duvet that you are guaranteed to enjoy for years to come! The filling weight of this woolen all-year duvet is approximately 400 grams/m². The Texels Classic All Year duvet (warmth class 3) is most suitable for bedrooms with an average temperature around 15 to 20 °C. For warmer bedrooms, we recommend the wonderfully light and airy Texels Classic summer duvet (warmth class 4) or the even thinner high summer duvet.

100% Pure New Wool

The woolen all-year duvet is filled with the best quality new wool, sourced from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among other places. A reason for the high quality of Texel new wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving their wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texel new wool in the Texels Classic wool All Year duvet is carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is then stitched as a continuous fleece in the length direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percale cotton cover. This stitching method allows the wool ample space to 'open up,' enabling optimal ventilation and preventing overheating. Additionally, this gives the Texels Classic woolen duvet a wonderfully light feel, making the Texels Classic unique compared to other woolen duvets.

A Wonderfully Soft and Supple Duvet

The cover (tijk) of this beautiful duvet is made from 100% percale cotton, BSCI certified! A wonderfully soft fabric that ensures this duvet drapes beautifully and softly around you. Naturally, this cover is wool-dense, preventing any prickly wool fibers from escaping.

The All Year duvet is equipped with press studs, making it easy to connect to other duvets from the Texels Classic Multi-Choice duvet collection. These press studs are located on the side of the duvet, so you will never feel them. You can now easily purchase the All Year duvet first and later decide to also buy the Texels Classic High Summer duvet if you still feel too cold. Combining both duvets creates a wonderfully warm woolen winter duvet (warmth class 1+).

The Texels Classic Multi-Choice collection consists of three other duvets, each available separately.

Our Texel new wool has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our woolen duvets is therefore almost impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also high humidity. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry climate. Pure new wool is therefore not a favorable environment for dust mites.

Lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel new wool, the duvet always maintains its shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is impossible.
