The Austrian family business Hefel was founded in 1907. In its early years, the company made tablecloths, but its activities were soon expanded: Hefel started a weaving mill in Schwarzach for downproof ticking. In 1972, Hefel took the next step. In collaboration with a down atelier from Kefermarkt, its own down duvet collection was launched. A quick expansion of the duvet collection followed, with the latest revolution being the Tencel duvets. Made from 100% wood fibre, a unique sleep sensation!
