Cashmere All-Year Duvet
Cashmere or kashmir is a type of wool originating from the Kashmir goat. It is the most noble type of hair. The cashmere goat lives at high altitudes where the temperature is very hot during the day and freezing cold at night. The fine hairs of the cashmere goat protect the animal from these extreme temperature fluctuations. The Cashmere wool is a fine and very soft and supple fibre for use in an all year duvet.
Cashmere is an expensive natural fibre. The price is mainly dependent on how fine the wool is. Furthermore, the fibre length, the degree of crimp and the colour play a role. As a result of the fine fibres, articles made of Cashmere wool have very good heat-insulating properties at a low weight. A duvet filled with this beautiful type of hair is an absolute indulgence.
