Hefel Pure Silk Pillow

This special silk pillow from Hefel is unique. The Hefel Pure Silk pillow features a luxuriously double-stitched ticking (cover) filled with 100% Tussah wild silk. Thanks to the special properties of Tussah silk, this pillow can absorb a lot of moisture, which it simultaneously releases quickly. This explains the cooling effect of silk and guarantees a very pleasant sleeping climate.

The luxurious ticking is made of 100% Tencel, woven in an elegant satin weave. This combination makes the fabric extremely soft and supple. Tencel® is made from pure natural wood cellulose (wood fibers). Tencel is as soft as silk, as strong as polyester, as easy to care for (very washable) as acrylic, and as cool and pleasant as linen. Tencel also absorbs 150% more moisture than cotton!

100% Anti-Allergenic

The combination of Silk and Tencel gives bacteria no chance to grow. Bacterial growth is prevented in a 100% natural way. The perfect moisture regulation is key to this. In contrast, bacteria grow 2000 times faster in synthetic fibers than in Silk and Tencel.

Silk Pillow - Sustainably Filled!

Silk itself has no resilience as a pillow filling. To give the silk pillow good resilience and high volume, our silk pillow is firmly filled with durable and soft recycled sleep balls. This filling is made from ethically recovered plastic from PET bottles, collected by the Plastic Bank and recycled into resilient fiber balls. This pillow not only provides a reassuring and conscious feeling but is also comfortable, cooling, and retains its supportive shape.

This wonderfully soft pillow is easily shapeable, has good resilience, and is pleasantly soft. Making it suitable for stomach, back, and side sleepers. The pillow has a zipper on the short side, making it refillable. You can therefore easily determine the thickness and firmness of the pillow yourself.
