Onze Texels Classic wollen onderdeken met Split heeft een vulling van 100% zuivere Texelse scheerwol. De ene zijde is voorzien van een heerlijke wollen vacht voor maximaal comfort. Een onderdeken met een split (heeft een insnede aan de bovenzijde) is geschikt voor verstelbare bodems en zorgt er voor dat beide helften vrij en onafhankelijk van elkaar kunnen bewegen.

A wool underblanket is a thick wool blanket of approx. 3 to 4 cm, which is placed on the mattress. An underblanket ensures a dry and warm sleeping climate throughout the night. Wool is characterized by its natural ability to retain heat. Ideal for people who get cold quickly at night and for those with muscle and joint pain.
However, a wool underblanket is also highly recommended for people who get too warm at night and for those who sweat excessively. Another quality of wool is its strong ventilating property and the fact that wool can absorb more than 35% of its own weight in moisture. A wool underblanket therefore means wonderfully soft and comfortable sleep all year round. Cool and dry during the warm summer months and comfortably warm during the cold winter months.
Texels Classic Wool Underblanket
Our Texels Classic wool underblanket has a filling of 100% pure Texel virgin wool. This virgin wool is of course Woolmark certified. The filling weight of the underblanket is a generous 1,000 grams per m², ensuring wonderfully thick filling. More than enough for soft and comfortable lying comfort. One side features a lovely wool fleece for maximum comfort. The other side is made of 100% fine percale cotton. You can choose which side you want to sleep on. The wool underblanket has elastic straps at all 4 corners, ensuring the underblanket stays securely in place.
Anti-allergy
The Texel virgin wool has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Therefore, mold formation in our wool underblanket is not possible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, a wonderfully cool and dry climate is created. Pure virgin wool is therefore not a favorable environment for dust mites. The lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly'.
Underblanket with a split
An underblanket with a split (has a slit at the top) is suitable for adjustable beds and ensures that both halves can move freely and independently of each other. Available in the following sizes:
