The cover (ticking) of this beautiful duvet is made of 100% Tencel with the FSC mark and BSCI certified! Tencel® is a 100% natural material and is fully biodegradable. Tencel is as soft as silk, as light as down, as strong as polyester, as easy to wash as acrylic, as cool as linen, and as warm as wool. 100% pure sheep wool

The TencelWool wool summer duvet is filled with the best quality sheep wool, originating from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among others. A reason for the good quality of Texel sheep wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving this wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texel sheep wool of this duvet is carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is stitched continuously as a fleece in the longitudinal direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percal cotton cover. This stitching method ensures the wool has plenty of space to 'open up,' allowing the duvet to ventilate optimally and preventing you from getting too hot. Additionally, this gives the wool duvet a wonderfully airy feel. This, combined with the unique Tencel cover, makes the TencelWool unique compared to other wool duvets.

Sleep wonderfully all year round under the right duvet?

The Tencelwool wool 4 seasons duvet consists of a summer part filled with 225 g/m² pure Texel sheep wool (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn part of 425 g/m² (warmth class 3). In winter, you can quickly and easily attach both duvet parts together with a zipper, so you sleep wonderfully warm and comfortable under the winter duvet (warmth class 1) even on the coldest nights.

Anti-dust mite

Because wool contains lanolin, it is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure sheep wool in a duvet or pillow is also not a favorable environment for dust mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture. If you ensure your (duvet) bed is aired regularly, dust mites will not stand a chance.

Anti-Allergenic

Our Texel sheep wool has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (= wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore almost impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also high humidity. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, a wonderfully cool and dry climate is created. Pure sheep wool is therefore not a favorable environment for dust mites.

Lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel sheep wool, the duvet always remains in good shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is excluded.
