A cherry pit pad is a versatile 'cushion' filled with cherry pits. These pits have the unique property of retaining heat (or cold) for a long time and releasing it gradually.

How to use a cherry pit pad?
Heating: heat the pad according to the instructions on the label in the microwave.
Cooling: Place the heat pad in the freezer or refrigerator for a few hours according to the instructions on the label.
Placement: Place the warm or cold heat pad on the desired area.
Relax: Enjoy the warmth and/or coolness for relaxation.
Please note that the cherry pit pads may emit a 'fruity' odor at first, especially when heated. This is completely normal and will fade over time. After heating, the cushion may also feel slightly damp. This is also perfectly natural!

The fabric/cover for this cherry pit pad is made from 100% recycled polyester yarns, made from post-consumer plastic bottles with permanent flame-retardant superior properties. The fabric is 100% recycled & recyclable and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Our cherry pits are organically grown and therefore free of harmful substances. The cherry pits are cleaned without the use of chemicals in a special process, during which they undergo heat treatment and are dried.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Our cherry pit pad is very easy to heat in the microwave:
Usage
Before using our cherry pit pad for the first time, we would like to draw your attention to a few points that you should observe to ensure optimal enjoyment and safety. This is to prevent fire and damage due to overheating and drying out.
Do not allow children and/or persons who cannot react effectively to heat the cherry pit pad. Place the heat pad in the center of the microwave and heat it as indicated on the label of the cherry pit pad.
Follow the instructions regarding heating times and the correct power setting of the oven or microwave carefully. Check the temperature of the heat pad before use. Due to the operation of the microwave, the heat gradually comes from the inside out. This means the cherry pit pad does not feel warm immediately when you take it out of the microwave.
If your microwave has a different power output, please adjust the heating time. If your microwave has a different power output, the heating time should be adjusted as follows:
700 W Max. 2.5 min.
800 W Max. 2 min.
900 W Max. 1.5 min.
1,000 W Max. 1 min.
Ensure that the microwave is clean and free of grease stains. Stay nearby during heating and, in case of a rotating plate, ensure that the cherry pit pad does not get stuck.
Do not use an extra pillowcase for heating.
Lightly mist the cherry pit pad with water occasionally before heating to prevent the pits from drying out. Better too moist than too dry! You can also choose to place a cup of water in the microwave.
After heating, let the heat pad cool down completely before reheating. Overheating can cause damage to the cherry pit pad and its surroundings.
If the cherry pit pad is damaged due to overheating or other improper use, it should no longer be used! If necessary, the cherry pit pad can be washed entirely. (When machine washing, place the heat pad in a separate pillowcase to prevent damage to the seam.)
The cherry pit pad can be gently hand washed at 30°C and dried completely.
Natural fillings such as cherry pits, used to fill cushions, are pure natural products of plant origin. Store the cherry pit pad in a dry place and air it regularly. As these are natural products, it cannot be ruled out that risk groups such as people with allergies or at risk of allergies, or people with serious underlying illnesses, may experience allergic reactions.
10-point plan for correct use of your Savanne Bio Cherry Pit Pad
Ensure the microwave is clean and free of grease stains.
Check the microwave's power output. Adjust the microwave's power to the heating time as stated on the label.
Check if the cherry pit pad is completely cooled down from any previous use.
Remove any pillowcase or towel around the cherry pit pad.
Mist the cherry pit pad with water. Better too moist than too dry!
Place the cherry pit pad in the center of the microwave. Ensure it does not touch the wall, especially with a rotating plate. Make sure no extra function such as grill, oven, or hot air is activated.
Heat the cherry pit pad. Stay near the microwave and keep an eye on the heating time.
Check the warmth of the cherry pit pad before use. If it doesn't feel warm immediately, shake the cherry pit pad briefly.
If you use an aroma spray, please spray it only after heating the cherry pit pad!
Only reheat the cherry pit pad when it has completely cooled down.
