The Ducky Dons Castella duck feather pillow is generously filled with approx. 2650 grams of duck feathers. This makes the pillow quite high and therefore particularly suitable for back and side sleepers. This down pillow has a double ticking which prevents feathers from poking through the fabric. A wonderfully full and firm pillow at a very good price!
Unlike materials such as memory foam or latex, duck feathers ventilate excellently. Additionally, the cotton ticking and feathers ensure that the moisture you lose during sleep is well absorbed. This makes a duck feather pillow a nice cool pillow.
Washing and Maintenance
You can wash the down pillow yourself if necessary, but it is important to dry the down pillow in the dryer for more than three hours. However, we recommend having the pillow cleaned by a specialized company. Using a good molton pillow protector is highly recommended. With a molton pillow protector, you significantly extend the lifespan of your pillow. Additionally, sleeping with a molton pillow protector is hygienic and dust mite-free.
By gently fluffing the pillow daily and opening the bedroom window, the down can air out well, and the pillow will retain its resilience and shape for longer.
