The Ducky Dons Castella duck feather pillow is generously filled with approx. 1000 grams of duck feathers. This makes the pillow quite high and therefore particularly suitable for back and side sleepers. This down pillow features a double ticking, which prevents feathers from poking through the fabric. A wonderfully full and firm pillow at a great price!
Unlike materials such as memory foam or latex, duck feathers offer excellent ventilation. Additionally, the cotton ticking and feathers effectively absorb the moisture you lose during sleep. This makes a duck feather pillow a pleasantly cool pillow.
Washing and maintenance
You can wash the down pillow yourself if necessary, but it is important to dry it in the tumble dryer for more than three hours. However, we recommend having the pillow cleaned by a specialized company. Using a good molton pillow protector is highly recommended. A molton pillow protector significantly extends the lifespan of your pillow. It also ensures hygienic sleeping and is free from dust mites.
Gently fluffing the pillow daily and opening the bedroom window allows the down to air out well, helping the pillow retain its resilience and shape for longer.

This Ducky Dons Castella pillow has the NOMITE, Downafresh® Greenline, and Oeko-Tex certifications. The NOMITE certification indicates that this product is suitable for people with a dust mite allergy. The Oeko-Tex certification guarantees that this duck down pillow is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
The Downafresh® Greenline certification is from the European Down & Feather Association (EDFA). This is a collaboration of the most important down and feather processing companies in Europe. The label means that the down pillow meets the hygiene requirements of EN 12935, no aggressive agents are used in production, the down pillow is biodegradable after its period of use, the manufacturer adheres to the code of conduct regarding animal welfare, the origin of the filling material is documented, and the filling material is not sourced from 'live-plucking'.
