When you’re travelling, you still want to enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Whether that’s possible on a hotel pillow, in an apartment, or with an inflatable travel pillow is another question entirely. Bringing your own pillow (or one for the rest of the family) can also take up quite a bit of space. Yet even on holiday, a business trip, or during a stay-over, a good night’s sleep is important or even essential to feel fit, fresh, and ready for the next day.

What is a travel pillow?
A good travel pillow should meet a number of requirements, but the most important one is, of course, that it is comfortable. By comfortable, we mean that it provides enough support to allow your head, neck, and shoulders to fully relax. When these areas can properly relax, it becomes much easier to reach that much-needed deep sleep.
The best travel pillow
When it comes to a good travel pillow, there are several materials to choose from. The least comfortable, but most affordable option is an inflatable pillow. This is often made from the same material as a typical air mattress.
Memory foam... What is it?
The Savanne travel pillow is made from viscoelastic foam, also known as memory foam or Tempur. Memory foam has the unique ability to mould to the contours of your body under the influence of heat and pressure. This allows your muscles to relax while promoting healthy blood circulation. And good to know: the Savanne travel pillow is suitable for back, stomach, and side sleepers alike!
How do you use a travel pillow?
A U-shaped travel pillow is ideal for taking a short nap while sitting upright, without putting too much strain on your neck. However, a full travel pillow, such as the Savanne memory foam travel pillow, is perfectly suitable for night-after-night use, as it offers a level of comfort comparable to a regular memory foam pillow.

It certainly tries to be a travel pillow, but we believe in a pillow that does more than just keep your head upright (while you hope it doesn’t deflate during the night). The same goes for the well-known U-shaped neck pillow, often filled with synthetic beads. While this may offer a solution for sleeping upright in the car or on a plane, it is not suitable for a proper night’s sleep.
The only difference is its size, which is 40 x 25 x 10 cm. This means that even if you’re travelling for a longer period, the Savanne travel pillow still offers the support and comfort of a full-sized pillow.
And it’s rollable too!
The storage of the travel pillow has also been carefully considered. The pillow is rollable, so you don’t have to sacrifice valuable suitcase space for your pillow. The Savanne travel pillow therefore comes with a pillowcase and a handy storage bag.
Now nothing can stop you from enjoying a great night’s sleep while on holiday or travelling, and waking up feeling fresh and ready to start a new adventure.
