With the Texels Classic wool high summer duvet, you are purchasing a duvet that you are guaranteed to enjoy for years to come! The filling weight of this wool summer duvet is approx. 120 grams/m². The wool high summer duvet is a wonderfully light, airy, and super thin summer duvet, making it ideal for the warmest nights and/or very warm sleepers.

100% pure new wool

The wool high summer duvet is filled with the best quality new wool, sourced from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among other places. The reason for the high quality of Texel new wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving this wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texel new wool of the Texels Classic wool high summer duvet has been carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is then stitched as a continuous fleece in the lengthwise direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percal cotton cover. This stitching method ensures the wool has ample space to 'open up,' allowing the duvet to ventilate optimally and preventing overheating. Furthermore, this gives the Texels Classic wool high summer duvet a wonderfully airy feel, making the Texels Classic unique compared to other wool duvets.

A wonderfully soft and supple duvet

The cover (ticking) of this beautiful wool duvet is made of 100% percal cotton, BSCI certified! A wonderfully soft fabric that ensures this duvet drapes wonderfully soft and supple around you. Naturally, this cover is wool-tight, preventing any irritating wool hairs from poking through.

With the Texels Classic wool multi-choice duvets, we offer you the very best sleeping comfort. You can choose your duvet or combine the Texels Classic duvets that suit your warmth needs.

The high summer duvet is equipped with press studs and can therefore be easily connected to the other duvets from the Texels Classic multi-choice duvet collection. These press studs are, of course, located on the side of the duvet so you will never be bothered by them. You can now easily purchase just the high summer duvet first, and then later decide to also buy the Texels Classic spring/autumn duvet if you still find yourself too cold. Together, both duvets form a wonderfully cozy and extra warm wool winter duvet (warmth class 1+).

The Texels Classic multi-choice duvet collection consists of three other duvets, each available separately.

Our Texel new wool has a fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore almost impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, a wonderfully cool and dry climate is created. Pure new wool is therefore not a favorable environment for house dust mites.

The lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel new wool, the duvet always retains its shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is excluded.
