Merino Wool
This wonderfully duvet is filled with Merino-like quality sheep wool. Merino wool comes from the Merino sheep. The Merino sheep is one of the best-known sheep breeds in the world and is generally praised for the quality of its wool. Thanks to the many skin folds, one sheep produces five kilos of wool per year. Merino wool excels not only in high wool production but also in the exceptional quality of the wool.
Merino wool is a 100% natural fiber with a strong crimp. Due to this crimp, a duvet filled with Merino wool is airier and has a higher insulating and ventilating value than a pure wool duvet.

Anti-allergic
Mold formation in a wool duvet is virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high level of humidity. Because wool is highly breathable and regulates temperature itself, molds cannot nest in it.
Anti-house dust mite
Because wool contains lanolin, it is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure sheep's wool in a bed or mattress is also not a favorable environment for house mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. If you ensure that your (duvet) bed is aired regularly, house mites will not stand a chance.
As early as 1996, Hefel introduced the first cover made of organic cotton. This satin cover is exceptionally fine and feels super soft. The organic cotton has never been in contact with pesticides or other harsh chemicals, making it clean, safe, and skin-friendly. It meets the strict requirements of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
Quality marks
In addition to the GOTS mark, the Hefel organic wool all-year duvet also has the Woolmark and is Oeko-Tex certified. With the Woolmark, you are assured that this duvet is filled with 100% pure sheep's wool. The Oeko-Tex mark guarantees that the tested and certified textiles are free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
Origin
Weids Wonen & Slapen knows its manufacturers and requires them to state the origin of the raw materials. Raw materials from suspicious countries and sources will not be accepted by Weids Wonen & Slapen. Weids Wonen & Slapen exclusively works with raw materials obtained in an animal-friendly manner.
Woolmark-Oeko-Tex
This wonderfully wool duvet naturally has the Woolmark quality mark and is Oeko-Tex certified. With the Woolmark, you are assured that this duvet is filled with 100% pure sheep's wool. The Oeko-Tex mark guarantees that the tested and certified textiles are free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
Choose 100% natural and honest sleep comfort!
For the composition of this duvet, only the best quality wool has been chosen in combination with a high-quality fabric cover. Thanks to the quality of the wool, we do not need to use a synthetic non-woven fleece. The softness and flexibility of the fabric ultimately determine your sleeping comfort. We can therefore assure you that our duvet is truly made from 100% natural materials.
Price busters, often choose a lower quality wool (or in the worst case, even belly wool from the sheep). To prevent the 'bad' wool from poking through the cover, they use a cheap (thick and stiff) cover and/or a synthetic fleece. By using a synthetic fleece, they reduce the cost price for the filling and the cover and accept that you will not be sleeping under a 100% pure natural duvet.
Transparency
We share this information with you partly because we always want to act honestly and transparently. On the other hand, it does not do justice to a wool duvet. If people complain that they bought a (cheap) wool duvet but found it too warm because the duvet doesn't breathe, you now know how that happened.
Order directly and affordably
Our Texels Classic wool pillow is our best-selling pillow. The filling of this pillow consists of 100% natural sheep's wool, which guarantees perfect support for your head and neck. The fine crimp of the wool guarantees a full and resilient pillow that you will enjoy for years to come.
The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Per night, one loses about half a liter of moisture, often through the head. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, a wonderfully cool and dry sleeping climate is created.
The Texels Classic pillow is available in no less than 4 sizes:
40x80 cm (German sizing)
50x70 cm (a very pleasant size, especially for tall people)
60x70 cm (= standard Dutch size)
80x80 cm (German sizing)
Determine the height and firmness of your pillow yourself!
You can easily adjust the firmness or height of this wonderful pillow yourself by removing some filling or adding more. You can order extra bags of pillow filling affordably.
Our advice:Always choose a pillow witha zipper, so you don't make a bad purchase. Invest in good sleep.

Een aanrader voor iedereen
Review byM. C.

Lanoline is vuil afstotend.
