The Texels Classic DeLuxe wool 4-season duvet is filled with the best quality virgin wool, sourced from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among others. A reason for the high quality of Texel virgin wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving this wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texels Classic DeLuxe wool 4-season duvet consists of a summer part filled with 225 g/m² pure Texel virgin wool (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn part of 425 g/m² (warmth class 3). In winter, you can quickly and easily attach both duvet parts using a zipper, ensuring you sleep wonderfully warm and comfortable under the winter duvet (warmth class 1) even on the coldest nights.

Our Texel virgin wool has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp ensures good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates temperature itself, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry climate. Pure virgin wool is therefore not a favorable environment for dust mites.

Lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel virgin wool, the duvet always stays in good shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is excluded.
