Filling
This wool pillow features a 100% super soft percal cotton ticking and is firmly filled with approx. 750 grams of pure Texel sheep wool balls. Our Texel sheep wool naturally has a beautiful fine crimp (curl) and a high lanolin (= wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool pillows is therefore almost impossible. Molds need not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, a wonderfully cool and dry climate is created. Pure sheep wool is therefore not a favorable environment for dust mites. The lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly'.
Ideal Children's Pillow
Due to its compact size of 60x40 cm, this pillow is smaller than the standard pillow size of 60x70 cm. The pure Texel sheep wool balls provide a breathable inner filling. A nice thought for your child when they sleep face down on the pillow. The pillowcase has a zipper, so you can easily adjust the height and firmness of the pillow. This makes it a great 'grow-with-me' pillow.
Anti-allergenic
Mold formation in wool is almost impossible. Molds need not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, molds cannot nest in it. Thanks to the lanolin, the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure sheep wool in a pillow is also not a favorable environment for dust mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. By airing your pillow regularly, you prevent dust mites from thriving.
Washing Instructions
Thanks to the zipper, you can remove the wool from the pillow and wash the pillowcase separately. The wool filling itself is naturally not washable. However, an extraMolton pillowcaseis highly recommended. A Molton pillowcase significantly extends the lifespan of your pillow. Additionally, with a Molton pillowcase, you are guaranteed to sleep hygienically clean.
