With the Texels Classic wool summer duvet, you are purchasing a duvet that you are guaranteed to enjoy for years! The filling weight of this wool summer duvet is approx. 200 grams/m². The wool summer duvet is a wonderfully light, airy, and thin summer duvet, making it ideal for warm summers and/or warm sleepers.

100% pure new wool

The wool summer duvet is filled with the best quality new wool, sourced from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among other places. A reason for the high quality of Texel new wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving their wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.

The Texel new wool in the Texels Classic wool summer duvet is carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is then stitched as a continuous fleece in the lengthwise direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percal cotton cover. This stitching method allows the wool ample space to 'open up,' enabling optimal ventilation so you don't get too warm. Furthermore, this gives the Texels Classic wool duvet a wonderfully airy feel, making the Texels Classic unique compared to other wool duvets.

A wonderfully soft and supple duvet

The cover (ticking) of this beautiful duvet is made from 100% percal cotton, BSCI certified! A wonderfully soft fabric that ensures this duvet drapes beautifully and softly around you. Naturally, this cover is wool-dense, preventing any irritating wool hairs from poking through.

With the Texels Classic wool Multi-Choice duvets, we offer you the ultimate sleeping comfort. You can choose your duvet or combine Texels Classic duvets to suit your warmth needs.

The summer duvet is equipped with press studs, making it easy to connect to other duvets from the Texels Classic Multi-Choice duvet collection. These press studs are, of course, located on the side of the duvet so you never feel them. You can therefore easily purchase just the summer duvet first and later decide to also buy the Texels Classic spring/autumn duvet if you still feel too cold. Together, these two duvets form a wonderfully warm wool winter duvet (warmth class 1+).

The Texels Classic Multi-Choice collection consists of three other duvets, each available separately.

Our Texel new wool has a beautiful fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees excellent insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because our wool ventilates exceptionally well and regulates temperature, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry climate. Pure new wool is thus not a favorable environment for dust mites.

Lanolin makes the wool self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly.' Due to the natural resilience of Texel new wool, the duvet always retains its shape. Breaking or flattening of the wool is impossible.
