A wool box pillow is also a perfect alternative if you don't want to switch directly to a special neck support pillow. Especially if you sleep on your back very regularly. In that case, a box pillow is a better choice. Special neck support pillows are usually too firm for the neck, unless you choose a low model.

Our wool box pillow is firmly filled with 100% pure sheep wool. Not wool pellets, but the VulWol developed by WolFabryk Fryslan itself. Thisuniqueand nowhere else available VulWol has the special property that it can be easily shaped. You 'pat' the pillow into the desired height and shape with your shoulder every evening before going to sleep. This way, you enjoy perfect support every night.
Sheep wool naturally has a very fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. Good quality wool (a high lanolin content) can be recognized by its smell. Sheep wool should smell like... well, sheep! If you choose this wool pillow, you will always have a nice thick, firm, resilient, and extremely shapeable full pillow.

Firmness fully adjustable!
This wonderfully wool box pillow is firmly filled. The wool box pillow has a zipper on the short side, making it fully adjustable and refillable. You can easily remove a handful to make the pillow flatter/softer, or add some wool to make the pillow higher/firmer.
The ticking
The ticking of this wonderful wool pillow is made of wonderfully soft percale cotton, which ensures even better moisture and temperature regulation! This pillow fits in a standard (NL) pillowcase (60 x 70 cm).

Mold formation in wool is virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high humidity level. Because wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, molds cannot nest in it. Thanks to lanolin, the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly'. Pure sheep's wool in a pillow is also not a pleasant environment for dust mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. If you ensure your pillow is aired regularly, dust mites won't stand a chance.

Washing instructions
Thanks to the zipper, you can remove the wool from the pillow and wash the ticking/cover separately. The wool filling itself is obviously not washable. However, an extra Molton pillowcase is highly recommended. With a Molton pillowcase, you significantly extend the lifespan of your pillow. Additionally, with a Molton pillowcase, you are guaranteed to sleep hygienically clean.
