TencelWool Super thin summer duvet - Only the best will do!
With the TencelWool wool summer duvet from Savanne, you are purchasing a summer duvet that you are guaranteed to enjoy for years to come! The filling weight of this wool summer duvet is approximately 150 grams/m². The wool high summer duvet is a wonderfully light, airy, and super thin summer duvet, making it ideal for the warmest nights and/or very warm sleepers.
A wonderfully soft and supple duvet
The ticking (cover) of this beautiful duvet is made of 100% Tencel with the FSC mark and is BSCI certified! Tencel® is a 100% natural material and is fully biodegradable. A wonderfully soft, shiny, and guaranteed wool-dense ticking, making this duvet fall wonderfully soft and supple around you. Tencel combines the most desirable and important properties of all duvet filling types. Tencel is as soft as silk, as light as down, as strong as polyester, as easy to wash as acrylic, as cool as linen, and as warm as wool. Sleeping under a wool duvet with a Tencel ticking is a true sleeping sensation!
Tencel, most sustainable - maximum sleep comfort!
Tencel is 100% natural and biodegradable. Tencel is made from wood (Eucalyptus tree) sourced from specially managed, sustainable forests. It has received the European quality mark PEFC and the international mark FSC. TENCEL® has received numerous awards for its environmentally friendly production process. With Tencel, you choose sustainable and healthy sleep!
TENCEL® is highly functional. Excellent moisture permeability is one of the basic properties of this natural fiber. Extensive research has shown that 85% of people with sensitive skin prefer TENCEL® over other materials. Bacteria do not stand a chance in Tencel material, and house dust mites disappear within 6 weeks. No chemicals are used in Tencel material, an important factor for sensitive skin. Tencel can first absorb moisture and then distribute it over the surface, ensuring your sleeping environment is always pleasantly dry.
100% pure new wool
The TencelWool wool summer duvet is filled with the best quality new wool, sourced from lambs and sheep from Texel and Northern France, among others. A reason for the good quality of Texel new wool is the living environment of the Texel sheep. Due to the harsh sea climate, Texel sheep endure more, giving this wool better resilience and higher insulating and ventilating capacity.
The Texel new wool in this duvet has been carefully carded, ensuring all fibers lie in the same direction. The carded wool is then stitched as a continuous fleece in the length direction with a double chain stitch between a 100% natural percale cotton ticking. This stitching method ensures the wool has ample space to 'open up', allowing the duvet to ventilate optimally and preventing overheating. Furthermore, this gives the wool duvet a wonderfully airy feel. This, combined with the unique Tencel ticking, makes the TencelWool unique compared to other wool duvets.
Sleep wonderfully all year round with the right duvet?
The Tencelwool wool 4-season duvet consists of a summer part filled with 225 g/m² pure Texel new wool (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn part filled with 425 g/m² (warmth class 3). In winter, you can quickly and easily attach both duvet parts together using a zipper, ensuring you sleep wonderfully warm and comfortable under the winter duvet (warmth class 1) even on the coldest nights.

Anti-house dust mite
Because wool contains lanolin, wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure new wool in a duvet or pillow is also not a favorable environment for house dust mites, as wool ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. If you ensure your (duvet) bed is aired regularly, house dust mites won't stand a chance.
Anti-Allergenic
Our Texel new wool has a fine crimp and a high lanolin (wool fat) content. The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Mold formation in our wool duvets is therefore virtually impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also high humidity. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry climate. Pure new wool is therefore also not a favorable environment for house dust mites.
The lanolin ensures that the wool is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Equally important, lanolin prevents the wool from becoming dry and 'prickly'. Due to the natural resilience of Texel new wool, the duvet always retains its shape. Breaking or crushing of the wool is excluded.
Quality marks & certainty of pure sleep comfort!
The ticking is equipped with the FSC and BSCI quality marks. The international, independent FSC mark (Forest Stewardship Council®) assures that raw materials for wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests. BSCI offers companies a code of conduct that supports them in their efforts to establish an ethical supply chain. This code of conduct is based on international conventions protecting workers' rights. This includes the following key principles: socially responsible policy, freedom of association, working hours and overtime, non-discrimination, prohibition of child labor and forced labor, special protection for young workers, payment of a minimum wage, provision of a safe and healthy workplace, environmental protection, and no precarious employment.
Woolmark-Oeko-Tex
This wonderful wool duvet naturally has the Woolmark quality mark and is Oeko-Tex certified. With the Woolmark, you are assured that this duvet is filled with 100% pure new wool. The Oeko-Tex mark guarantees that the tested and certified textile is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
Choose 100% natural and honest sleep comfort!
For the composition of this duvet, only the best quality wool has been chosen in combination with a high-quality fabric ticking (cover). Thanks to the quality of the wool, we do not need to use a synthetic non-woven fleece. The softness and suppleness of the fabric ultimately determine your sleeping comfort. We can therefore assure you that our duvet is genuinely made from 100% natural materials.
Price busters often opt for lower quality wool (or in the worst case, even belly wool from the sheep). To prevent the 'bad' wool from poking through the ticking, they use a cheap (thick and stiff) ticking and/or a synthetic fleece. By using a synthetic fleece, they cut costs on the filling and ticking and are content with you not sleeping under a 100% pure natural duvet.
Transparency
We share this information with you for two reasons: firstly, because we always want to act honestly and transparently. Secondly, it does not do justice to a wool duvet. If people complain about buying a (cheap) wool duvet but finding it too warm because it doesn't breathe, you now know why.
Order directly at an extra advantageous price
Our Texels Classic wool pillow is our best-selling pillow. The filling of this pillow consists of 100% natural sheep wool, which guarantees perfect support for your head and neck. The fine crimp of the wool guarantees a full and resilient pillow that you will enjoy for years to come.
The quality of the crimp guarantees good insulation and ventilation. Per night, one loses about half a liter of moisture, often through the head. Because our wool ventilates excellently and regulates its own temperature, it creates a wonderfully cool and dry sleeping climate.
The Texels Classic pillow is available in no less than 4 sizes:
40x80 cm (German sizing)
50x70 cm (a very pleasant size, especially for tall people)
60x70 cm (= standard Dutch size)
80x80 cm (German sizing)
Determine the height and firmness of your pillow yourself!
You can easily adjust the firmness or height of this wonderful pillow yourself by removing some filling or adding more. You can order extra bags of pillow filling at an advantageous price.
Our advice: Always choose a pillow with a zipper, so you won't make a bad purchase. Invest in a good night's sleep.
