The Silvana Support® Royale Soft (orange) is the second softest pillow in the Silvana Support® Royale collection. This pillow is exceptionally suitable for use on a soft mattress and for individuals of a smaller build.
The wonderfully soft and moisture-regulating bamboo/cotton cover, combined with the filling of high-quality Nextlife® down and the neck support, ensures ultimate sleeping comfort. The recycled Nextlife® down (70% down and 30% feathers) is a highly sustainable filling material, as well as being exceptionally clean and hypoallergenic. Before use, the down undergoes a thorough washing process, followed by high-temperature drying, sterilization, and dust removal. Subsequently, it undergoes a strict quality test, and only the very best down is used. The down feels wonderfully soft, is resilient, and retains its shape for a long time. Furthermore, down has excellent moisture-regulating and ventilating properties and can be recycled after use. This is beneficial for the environment.
Neck Support
The neck support of the Silvana Support Royale is made from Vita Talalay® Latex. This high-quality latex is more flexible and better ventilated than standard latex. The neck indentation ensures that the pillow smoothly follows the head and neck, allowing the cervical vertebrae to relax. The pillow has a zipper on the underside, allowing the neck support to be replaced over the years.
How to make your pillow last longer
To enjoy your pillow for a long time, here are some tips to extend its lifespan:
We recommend shaking the pillow daily and airing it out regularly.
Additionally, use a molton pillowcase under your regular pillowcase. The molton absorbs a lot of (perspiration) moisture, keeping your pillow fresh and in good condition. Wash both pillowcases weekly.
You can give the Support Royale pillow a refresh occasionally by placing it in the tumble dryer for approximately 15 minutes on a low heat setting. Remember to remove the neck support first. This will remove all moisture, fluff up the pillow, and restore its volume. Use a low drying setting and preferably add 2-3 tennis balls.
Maintenance
Please note! Washing requires strict adherence to the washing and drying instructions. We do not recommend washing the pillow, but for extra hygiene and a longer lifespan, we advise using an additional molton pillowcase. These molton pillowcases fully absorb perspiration moisture. The pillowcases are not only wonderfully soft and washable at 60 degrees, but they are also treated against dust mites.
The Silvana Support® Royale is washable at 60 degrees Celsius if necessary. Wash the pillow only in exceptional circumstances and remove the neck support before washing. Ensure the pillow is washed in a clean washing machine, free from any grease or soap residue in the drum. Use the highest spin speed to remove as much moisture as possible. You may consider running an extra spin cycle to ensure the pillow comes out as dry as possible.
After washing, the pillow must be thoroughly dried immediately in the tumble dryer. Preferably dry on a low heat setting. Ensure the pillow is completely dry and tumble dry it a second or multiple times if necessary. If the pillow remains damp, an unpleasant odor may develop.
