This wonderful 90% duck down duvet is washable up to 60°C and suitable for tumble drying. This makes it extremely suitable for people with a dust mite allergy. The cover (tijk) of the duvet has the NOMITE and Oeko-Tex quality marks. The NOMITE quality mark indicates that this is a duvet suitable for people with a dust mite allergy. The Oeko-Tex quality mark guarantees that this duck down duvet is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
Downafresh® Greenline and DOWNPASS Quality Marks
The Downafresh® greenline label is a quality mark from the European Down & Feather Association (EDFA). This is an association of the most important down and feather processing companies in Europe. The label unites manufacturers who adhere to the code of conduct regarding animal welfare. This quality mark also guarantees:
that the filling material meets the hygienic requirements of EN 12935.
that no aggressive agents were used in production and that the filling material is biodegradable after its useful life.
that the origin of the filling material is documented and that the filling material is not obtained from live plucking (independently verified by IDFL).
Additionally, this duvet also carries the DOWNPASS quality mark. The DOWNPASS certifies that the down and feathers from waterfowl (ducks and geese) used as filling material in duvets and pillows are obtained ethically and undergo strict quality control.

Origin
All down and feathers processed by our supplier originate from (primarily Dutch) slaughterhouses. This means that these down and feathers come from ducks and geese raised for consumption, subsequently slaughtered, and only then are they stripped of their down and feathers. Down and feathers are not the primary products of ducks or geese; the focus is naturally on the meat.
Since May 2000, European legislation prohibits live plucking. Weids Wonen & Slapen fully supports this legislation and is committed to ensuring strict international oversight of its compliance. Weids Wonen & Slapen knows its supplier and regulates the supply chains of the raw materials delivered to them. This specifically means that Weids Wonen & Slapen informs its suppliers that live plucking is unacceptable, that the origin of the raw materials must be stated, and that raw materials from suspicious countries and sources cannot and will not be accepted.
Order extra affordably!
This wonderfully full down pillow Suverein by Savanne is generously filled with approx. 1200 grams of duck down (15%) and duck feathers. Thanks to this fine mix, it's a full and flippable pillow that provides excellent support for your head and neck.
Sleeping on a down pillow is like sleeping with your head on clouds. You can sink your head into it wonderfully. Down has been used as a filling for pillows and duvets for decades. Thanks to the natural curl of the duck feathers, this Suverein pillow has good resilience. The duck down ensures that this pillow feels wonderfully voluminous and soft.
Anti-allergic and dust mite free
The Suverein down pillow is extremely suitable for people with a dust mite allergy. Because down ventilates well, an unfavorable living climate is created for dust mites (dust mites thrive in humid environments). The Suverein pillow is washable up to 60°C. More than enough to be 100% anti-allergic! To restore the volume to your down pillow, it's best to put it in the dryer for a while.
