If you are looking for a duvet filled with 100% natural material that you can easily wash at home regularly, this Savanne cotton children's duvet is highly recommended. Cotton is a natural fiber that comes from the cotton plant and is the most widely used natural fiber worldwide. Cotton duvets can be washed at high temperatures and are tumble dryer resistant. This is very convenient, as stains can happen easily. A cotton children's duvet is also ideal for children with allergies.
The Luxor 4-season children's duvet consists of 2 parts, a summer part of approx. 250 grams/m² (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn part of approx. 450 grams/m² (warmth class 3). You can easily connect these two duvet parts, so you sleep under a wonderfully warm winter duvet (warmth class 1) during cold winter nights.
The cover of this wonderful Luxor duvet is quilted in blocks so that the filling stays in place and cold bridges are prevented. Furthermore, this duvet has the Oeko-Tex label, which guarantees that the duvet is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health.
The cotton filling of this beautiful duvet is sanforized (pre-shrunk), so it will shrink minimally (3 to 4%) during washing and drying.

Het belangrijkste punt van onderhoud is het dagelijks luchten van uw slaapkamer. Laat uw bed 's ochtends lekker open liggen, zodat het beddengoed goed kan ademen. Houdt u zich ook ALTIJD aan de wasvoorschriften op het waslabel.
Elke nacht verliest een mens huidschilfers, waarmee huisstofmijten gevoed worden. Allergieën voor deze mijten komen steeds vaker voor en het is daarom aan te raden om uw bedtextiel frequent te wassen en uw dekbed goed te luchten. Bij normaal gebruik is het reinigen van uw dekbed eigenlijk niet nodig. Als u het dekbed toch wilt wassen adviseren wij u deze naar een stomerij te brengen. Ook al staat er op het label van het dekbed dat u deze zelf kunt wassen. Het was- en met name droogproces vraagt heel veel aandacht. Het laatste wat u namelijk wilt is dat de vulling gaat klonteren en verschuiven.
Als u het dekbed wel zelf gaat wassen, kijk dan goed op het waslabel van uw dekbed voordat u aan de slag gaat. In verband met de vulling van het dekbed is het altijd verstandig om op een lage temperatuur te wassen en een fijnwasmiddel te gebruiken. Realiseer u dat het dekbed altijd iets (ca 3 a 4% zal gaan krimpen en de mooie glans van het dekbed vaak na het wassen zal verdwijnen.
Let er bij het in de wasmachine stoppen van uw dekbed op dat u niet propt. Het beste is om het dekbed eerst losjes op te vouwen en het dan voorzichtig in de trommel te plaatsen. Zo is het gewicht beter verdeeld en heeft u minder kans op een bonkende wasmachine of wasmiddel-vlekken op het dekbed. Let ook goed op de afmeting van het dekbed en of deze ruim in de wastrommel past. Wanneer het dekbed onvoldoende ruimte heeft om te draaien, wordt het dekbed veel te heet en gaat deze krimpen en klonteren!
Om de dekbedden goed te drogen moet deze in de droger. Maar stop er wel droogballen bij, zodat het dekbed goed geklopt wordt en de vulling goed los komt.
