Then this bamboo summer duvet from Savanne is highly recommended. Bamboo is a 100% natural product that grows incredibly fast and is cultivated sustainably. Bamboo is proven to be resistant to bacteria and mold and is washable up to 40 °C, more than enough to be completely anti-allergenic. Furthermore, bamboo has excellent moisture-regulating properties, making it ideal as a filling for a duvet. The ventilating and insulating properties of a bamboo duvet are better than those of a cotton duvet. Additionally, a bamboo summer duvet is also lighter than a cotton duvet.

The Savanne Bamboo summer duvet is a wonderfully light and thin duvet with a filling weight of approx. 150 grams/m² (warmth class 4). For a summer duvet, the filling and filling weight are matched so that you sleep cool and dry even on warm nights (warmer than 15 °C).

The cover (case) of this wonderful bamboo summer duvet is made of 100% percale cotton, BSCI certified! A wonderfully soft and supple natural fabric. The duvet itself is stitched in stripes to keep the filling in place. This duvet also has the FSC and Oeko-Tex labels.

The cover of the Savanne Bamboo duvet is Oeko-Tex and BSCI certified. The Oeko-Tex label guarantees that the tested and certified textile is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health. BSCI offers companies a code of conduct that supports them in their efforts to establish an ethical supply chain. This code of conduct is based on international treaties that protect workers' rights. This includes the following key principles: socially responsible policy, freedom of association, working hours and overtime, non-discrimination, combating child labor and forced labor, special protection for young workers, payment of a minimum wage, provision of a safe and healthy workplace, environmental protection, and no precarious employment.

The bamboo filling of the duvet has the FSC label and guarantees responsible sourcing from sustainably managed forests and/or recycling. Wood and derived products or other forest products bearing an FSC claim can only do so if the processing chain from forest to final product is also controlled for traceability.

100% natural and fair sleep comfort!

In the composition of this duvet, we have chosen a very high-quality cover with a high thread count. In addition to the softness and suppleness of this fabric quality, another important argument is that we do not need to use a synthetic non-woven fleece. This fleece is for protection and to prevent the bamboo filling from poking through the cover. This allows us to assure you that our duvet is indeed made from 100% natural materials.

Discount retailers often opt for lower quality filling fibers and cheaper covers. Therefore, they must use a synthetic fleece. By using a non-woven cover, they cut costs on the filling and cover, and you end up not sleeping under a 100% pure natural duvet.

Transparency
