The perfect filling weight for all year round
The Savanne Bamboo 4-season children's duvet consists of 2 parts: a summer part of approx. 200 grams/m² (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn part of approx. 300 grams/m² (warmth class 3). These two duvet parts can be easily connected using press studs, so you can sleep under a wonderfully warm winter duvet with a filling weight of approx. 500 grams/m² (warmth class 1) during cold winter nights.

The cover, super soft and supple!
The cover (case) of this lovely bamboo children's duvet is made of 100% percale cotton, BSCI certified! A wonderfully soft and supple natural fabric. The children's duvet itself is stitched in sections to keep the filling in place and prevent cold bridges. Additionally, this duvet has the FSC and Oeko-Tex labels.

The cover (case) of the Savanne Bamboo children's duvet is Oeko-Tex and BSCI certified. The Oeko-Tex label guarantees that the tested and certified textile is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health. BSCI offers companies a code of conduct that supports them in their efforts to establish an ethical supply chain. This code of conduct is based on international conventions protecting workers' rights. This includes the following key principles: socially responsible policy, freedom of association, working hours and overtime, non-discrimination, combating child labor and forced labor, special protection for young workers, payment of a minimum wage, provision of a safe and healthy workplace, environmental protection, and no precarious employment.
The bamboo filling of the children's duvet has the FSC label and guarantees a responsible origin from sustainably managed forests and/or recycling. 100% natural and fair sleep comfort!
In composing this children's duvet, we have chosen a very high-quality cover with a high thread count. In addition to the softness and suppleness of this fabric quality, another important argument is that we do not need to use a synthetic non-woven fleece. This fleece is for protection and to prevent the bamboo filling from poking through the cover. This allows us to assure you that our duvet is indeed made from 100% natural materials.
Price cutters often opt for a lower quality filling fiber and a cheaper cover. They therefore have to use a synthetic fleece. By using a non-woven cover, they reduce costs for the filling and cover, and you end up not sleeping under a 100% purely natural duvet.
Transparency
We share this information with you, firstly because we always want to act honestly and transparently. Secondly, it does not do justice to a bamboo duvet. If people complain about buying a (cheap) bamboo duvet but finding it too warm because it doesn't breathe, you now know why. We would say, benefit from this knowledge!

This wonderfully shapeable and nicely compact children's pillow is filled with approx. 625 grams of soft sleeping balls. Thanks to the resilience of the sleeping balls, this children's pillow provides good support for the head. The cover (case) is made of 100% cotton and has a zipper. This allows you to easily adjust the thickness of this children's pillow yourself.
The children's pillow can be washed in the washing machine at 40°C. With modern washing machines, this is more than sufficient to be 100% anti-allergenic. The children's pillow can also be put in the tumble dryer, which is, of course, just as convenient.

Ik bestelde in eerste instantie een dekbed van schapenwol voor mijn 2 jarig zoontje. Toen bleek dat hier een langere levertijd op was namen zij contact op en dachten met mij mee. Zij adviseerde het 4 seizoenen dekbed van bamboe aangezien deze in de wasmachine gereinigd kan worden, in tegenstelling tot het wollendekbed van texeler. Mijn zoontje slaapt hier heerlijk onder!

Het belangrijkste punt van onderhoud is het dagelijks luchten van uw slaapkamer. Laat uw bed s' ochtends lekker open liggen, zodat het beddengoed goed kan ademen. U kunt uw beddengoed beter niet blootstellen aan een te hoge luchtvochtigheid (boven 60-70%) en te lage kamertemperatuur (beneden 10-12ºC), daar dit de vezels kan beschadigen. Houdt u zich ook ALTIJD aan de wasvoorschriften op het waslabel.
Elke nacht verliest een mens huidschilfers, waarmee huisstofmijten gevoed worden. Allergieën voor deze mijten komen steeds vaker voor en het is daarom aan te raden om uw dekbed regelmatig te reinigen. Bij normaal gebruik is het reinigen slechts één keer in de 1 of 2 jaar nodig. Meestal kan dit gewoon in uw eigen wasmachine. Kijk goed op het waslabel van uw dekbed voordat u aan de slag gaat. In verband met de vulling van het dekbed is het verstandig om een fijnwasmiddel te gebruiken.
Let er bij het in de wasmachine stoppen van uw dekbed op dat u niet propt. Het beste is om het dekbed eerst losjes op te vouwen en het dan voorzichtig in de trommel te plaatsen. Zo is het gewicht beter verdeeld en heeft u minder kans op een bonkende wasmachine of wasmiddel-vlekken op het dekbed. Hoewel de meeste dekbedden wel geschikt zijn voor in de droger, kunt u ze toch beter uithangen. Dit is beter voor de vulling, die in de droogtrommel weleens kan gaan klonteren. Het drogen van een dekbed kan soms wel een paar dagen duren, dus zorg voordat u begint met wassen dat u een vervangend dekbed heeft om onder te slapen.
Dekbedden dienen de eerste wasbeurt bij voorkeur koud gewassen te worden. Dit voorkomt krimpen bij latere wasbeurten. Gebruik geen mattenklopper of stofzuiger om uw dekbed op te schudden of door te luchten. Door de compactheid van het materiaal van de tijk zet er zich geen stof in vast. Lichtjes afborstelen af en toe is dan ook voldoende! Bij het kloppen of stofzuigen van de tijk kunnen poriën zich verwijden, waarna de vulling door de tijk kan komen.
Onderhoud van een donzen, zijden of Tencel dekbed
Een donzen, zijden en Tencel dekbed heeft niet veel verzorging nodig. Het luchten van uw dekbed zorgt ervoor dat deze goed droog blijft. Een goede kwaliteit donzen, zijden of Tencel dekbed kan normaal gesproken op 60 graden celsius en met een fosfaatvrij wasmiddel gewassen worden. Lees de wasvoorschriften op het label van uw dekbed wel eerst goed door. In de meeste gevallen kan het dekbed ook in de droger. Laat uw donzen en zijden dekbed niet in de zon hangen te drogen! De zon onttrekt vochtigheid aan dons, veren en zijde. Deze verliezen hierdoor hun elasticiteit waardoor het slaapcomfort vermindert. Het is ook niet verstandig om óp een donzen dekbed te gaan zitten en/of liggen, omdat dit het dons kan beschadigen. Bij een Tencel of zijden dekbed is dat geen probleem.
Onderhoud en verzorging van een wollen en kameelharen dekbed
Wol en kameelhaar heeft zelfreinigende eigenschappen. Dit komt mede omdat een klein percentage van de wolvet (lanoline) in de wol achterblijft. Lanoline is vuil afstotend. Als u uw wollen dekbed of onderdeken regelmatig lucht, dan blijft het fris. Mocht er onverhoopt een vlek in de tijk komen, dan kunt u eerst proberen de vlek te verwijderen met een beetje ossengal zeep of groene zeep. Lukt dit niet, dan kunt u uw dekbed zonder problemen naar de stomerij brengen. Daar wordt uw dekbed gereinigd op het speciale wol-programma.
Onderhoud van een synthetisch, katoenen of bamboe dekbed
Een synthetisch, katoenen of bamboe dekbed is goed te wassen. Lees de wasvoorschriften op het label van het dekbed wel eerst goed door! De dekbedden kunnen meestal ook wel in de droger of in de centrifuge. Het is ook goed mogelijk de dekbedden met de hand te wassen in bijvoorbeeld een badkuip. Voordat u het dekbed uit het bad haalt is het wel belangrijk om zoveel mogelijk water uit het dekbed te drukken en het dekbed niet te wringen!
Dekbed was stappenplan
1. Bekijk het waslabel:
De tobbe geeft aan of het dekbed gewassen kan worden. Een getal in de tobbe geeft de maximale temperatuur aan waarop het artikel gewassen mag worden. Een handje in de tobbe betekent dat het artikel alleen met de hand gewassen mag worden.
Een driehoek vertelt je of het artikel gebleekt mag worden. Met de moderne zuurstofbleekmiddelen (die poeders) is het meestal geen probleem.
Een cirkel in een vierkant is het symbool voor drogen in de droogtrommel. Staat er één stip in, hou dan een lage temperatuur aan. Twee stippen geven aan dat u het artikel op een normale temperatuur mag drogen.
De strijkbout laat zien of het artikel strijkbaar is. Meestal staan er ook nog één of meer stippen in. Deze corresponderen met de stippen op de knop van u strijkbout.
2. Stop uw dekbed in de wasmachine. Niet proppen! Vouw het in de lengte dubbel en draai het de trommel in. Hierdoor is het gewicht goed verdeeld en zal de wasmachine niet gaan bonken.
3. Doe het wasmiddel en eventueel het bleekmiddel erbij.
4. Stel het programma (denk aan de juiste temperatuur!) in en laat de wasmachine zijn gang gaan.
5. Haal het dekbed uit de wasmachine en stop het in de droger of hang het uit. De meeste dekbedden kunnen in de droger, maar daardoor klontert de vulling vaak. En dat slaapt niet lekker. Aan de lucht drogen duurt langer (soms wel een paar dagen), maar de vulling zal niet klonteren. Aan u de keus.
Waarschuwingen!
Een kruis door het wasmachine symbool betekent dat het artikel chemisch moet worden gereinigd. Probeer dit nooit zelf! De stoffen die bij chemisch reinigen worden gebruikt zijn bij verkeerd gebruik schadelijk voor uw gezondheid. Breng het artikel naar de stomerij. Een kruis door een van de was symbolen betekent gewoon niet doen!
