Reading Pillow - Relaxed Reading
The 'Lekker Lui' reading pillow is designed with comfort and support in mind. The Savanne reading pillow is extra firmly filled with over 3250 grams of filling. You can choose between a mixed filling of latex flakes and synthetic fiber balls or 100% natural Texel sheep wool.
Both the natural wool filling and the mixed filling provide a perfect balance between comfort and support, allowing you to relax while reading or watching TV. Both filling materials are highly resilient, ensuring the pillow conforms perfectly to your posture and quickly regains its original shape after use, guaranteeing perfect back support.
The advantage of the wool filling over the mixed filling is its superior ventilation (breathability of the wool), which can be particularly beneficial for prolonged use or during warm summer months.
Beware of cheap imitations!
Pay close attention to the height dimension (45 x 65 x 30 cm), the type of pillow filling, and the filling weight when comparing our reading pillow to those from other suppliers;
The dimensions are crucial! You'll notice that many are smaller/lower in the back. Insufficient back support can still lead to back and/or neck pain. 45 cm is the ideal height.
Furthermore, imitations are often filled with inexpensive synthetic materials. While this may provide volume, it offers minimal support, certainly not enough for prolonged leaning.
The filling weight is essential for providing adequate counter-pressure and ensuring the reading pillow stays in place. An underfilled reading pillow can easily shift, making it uncomfortable to use.

Reading Pillow - Maintenance
The fixed cover of the reading pillow features a zipper, allowing you to remove or replenish the filling over time. You can also easily wash the fixed cover itself once the filling is removed. The fixed ticking of the 'Lekker Lui' reading pillow is white and made from 100% cotton.

The 'Lekker Lui' reading pillow is supplied without a separate pillowcase. However, you can order one at an extra discount. These pillowcases are available in multiple colors, adding a stylish touch!
An extra cotton pillowcase significantly extends the lifespan of your reading pillow. Additionally, sleeping with a cotton pillowcase promotes hygiene and is dust mite-free. The zipper on the cover ensures a snug fit and keeps the pillow securely in place. You can easily wash the pillowcase in the washing machine at a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius.
Using a second extra loose cotton pillowcase is also highly recommended. This is convenient when the other is in the wash and allows you to choose a different color.
