Himalayan Cashmere has the most beautiful curls compared to any other hair type and is absolutely unbeatable when it comes to heat insulation and ventilation. This means it's wonderfully warm in winter, but keeps the heat out in summer. Cashmere is not only wonderfully warm but also incomparably light. Merino wool has a very fine and light structure. This makes the combination of Merino wool with Cashmere so perfect. The Hefel Cashmere Royal duvet caresses the body like a soft breeze and creates a paradise of coziness.

Cashmere Royal Winter Duvet

This wonderfully warm Cashmere Royal duvet from Hefel is a winter duvet (warmth class 1) and is the ideal duvet if you are a cold sleeper and/or your bedroom temperature fluctuates around 15°C year-round. The cashmere filling of this winter duvet is layered in 2 layers and has a combined filling weight of 535 grams per square meter. Because both halves are only stitched together at the edges, warm air can be trapped in the space between the layers. This buffer of warm air makes the Hefel winter duvet significantly warmer than the all-year version.

The ticking of the Hefel Cashmere Royal duvet is made of 100% cotton Edelbatist. This is one of the softest and most supple types of cotton available. The ticking is so soft and supple that it drapes maximally and follows the contours of your body.

Why cashmere?

Choosing a cashmere duvet means choosing the best. Thanks to the extreme fineness of the fiber, you can enjoy a supple, light, and above all comfortable feeling. The fiber is only 12 to 19 microns thick. A micron is one-thousandth of a millimeter. For comparison, Texel sheep's wool is 26 to 34 microns thick! The result is that a cashmere duvet conforms more closely to your body, increasing comfort.

Anti-allergenic

Mold formation in a cashmere duvet is impossible. Molds require not only warmth but also a high level of humidity. Because cashmere is very breathable and regulates its own temperature, molds cannot nest in it.

Anti-dust mite

Because Merino Wool contains lanolin, it is self-cleaning, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent. Pure Cashmere and Merino wool in a duvet are also not a favorable environment for dust mites, as Cashmere/Merino ventilates optimally and regulates temperature and moisture levels. If you ensure that your (duvet) bed is aired regularly, dust mites will not stand a chance.

Het belangrijkste punt van onderhoud is het dagelijks luchten van uw slaapkamer. Laat uw bed 's ochtends lekker open liggen, zodat het beddengoed goed kan ademen. U kunt uw beddengoed beter niet blootstellen aan een te hoge luchtvochtigheid (boven 60-70%) en te lage kamertemperatuur (beneden 10-12ºC), daar dit de vezels kan beschadigen. Houdt u zich ook ALTIJD aan de wasvoorschriften op het waslabel.


Elke nacht verliest een mens huidschilfers, waarmee huisstofmijten gevoed worden. Allergieën voor deze mijten komen steeds vaker voor en het is daarom aan te raden om uw dekbed regelmatig te reinigen. Bij normaal gebruik is het reinigen slechts één keer in de 1 of 2 jaar nodig. Meestal kan dit gewoon in uw eigen wasmachine. Kijk goed op het waslabel van uw dekbed voordat u aan de slag gaat. In verband met de vulling van het dekbed is het verstandig om een fijnwasmiddel te gebruiken.


Let er bij het in de wasmachine stoppen van uw dekbed op dat u niet propt. Het beste is om het dekbed eerst losjes op te vouwen en het dan voorzichtig in de trommel te plaatsen. Zo is het gewicht beter verdeeld en heeft u minder kans op een bonkende wasmachine of wasmiddel-vlekken op het dekbed. Hoewel de meeste dekbedden wel geschikt zijn voor in de droger, kunt u ze toch beter uithangen. Dit is beter voor de vulling, die in de droogtrommel weleens kan gaan klonteren. Het drogen van een dekbed kan soms wel een paar dagen duren, dus zorg voordat u begint met wassen dat u een vervangend dekbed heeft om onder te slapen.


Dekbedden dienen de eerste wasbeurt bij voorkeur koud gewassen te worden. Dit voorkomt krimpen bij latere wasbeurten. Gebruik geen mattenklopper of stofzuiger om uw dekbed op te schudden of door te luchten. Door de compactheid van het materiaal van de tijk zet er zich geen stof in vast. Lichtjes afborstelen af en toe is dan ook voldoende! Bij het kloppen of stofzuigen van de tijk kunnen poriën zich verwijden, waarna de vulling door de tijk kan komen.

Onderhoud en verzorging van een wollen dekbed

Wol van goede kwaliteit heeft zelfreinigende eigenschappen. Dit komt mede omdat een klein percentage van de wolvet (lanoline) in de wol achterblijft. Lanoline is vuil afstotend. Als u uw wollen dekbed regelmatig lucht, dan blijft het lekker fris. Mocht er onverhoopt toch een vlek in de tijk komen, dan kunt u eerst proberen de vlek te verwijderen met een beetje ossengal zeep of groene zeep. Lukt dit niet, dan kunt u uw wollen dekbed zonder problemen naar de stomerij brengen. Daar wordt uw dekbed gereinigd op het speciale wol-programma.
