This eco-friendly children's mattress has an emission-clean and CO2-free LLQ cold foam core (HR55) approximately 10 cm high. The core is perforated, ensuring good air permeability and a healthy microclimate. The cold foam is foamed in an environmentally friendly manner. By using vegetable oils, this mattress is completely CFC and CO2 free. An additional benefit of this production method is that this foam is flame retardant.
The mattress features a double-cloth Tencel cover and is zip-off on 4 sides. This cover is washable up to 60°C. This heavily tested double-cloth Tencel cover is stitched with natural fibers for optimal moisture and temperature regulation. This cover is completely antibacterial and anti-allergic, making it extremely suitable for children with various types of allergies.
The mattress is completely free of harmful substances and has the "Blue Angel" certificate. The Blue Angel certificate means that the product is environmentally friendly and has been tested as such.
Cover composition: 40% polyamide, 32% cotton, and 28% polyester. The total height of this mattress is approximately 12 cm.
What is the Blue Angel?
The strict award criteria are established by the German Environmental Agency, neutral and independent of the manufacturer. RAL – The German Institute for the inspection of goods and issuance of marks awards the Blue Angel label based on the previously mentioned criteria. Products bearing the Blue Angel label are characterized by their extremely healthy manufacturing process and guarantee high quality and durability. They ensure minimal environmental impact and high health protection.
Long Life Quality
LLQ stands for Long Life Quality and is a type of cold foam with excellent properties, previously unachieved. LLQ foam is a specially developed and patented cold foam with a density of 55 (meaning at least 55 kg per 1 m³) and guarantees quality, sleeping comfort, and a long lifespan. Furthermore, this foam is also flame retardant. Through a simulated usage test as if the mattress had been slept on for 10 years (the mattress is rolled under natural sleeping conditions regarding temperature and moisture), the loss of height and firmness is less than 3%, and the elasticity remains virtually unchanged. Comparable types of cold foam lose up to 15% in height and firmness under the same conditions, although this still falls within DIN tolerance. LLQ foam is certified with the "Blue Angel" and meets all requirements of this certificate regarding LGA tests for harmful substances and emissions.
