The Ducky Dons Castella duck feather box pillow is generously filled with approx. 1600 grams of duck feathers. This makes the pillow quite high and firm. This makes it perfect for side sleepers of average to large build. This pillow has a double ticking which prevents feathers from poking through the fabric. A wonderful pillow for a very sharp price!
The box pillow has a cotton ticking, making the box pillow feel nice and soft, anti-dust mite and anti-allergenic. Unlike materials such as memory foam or latex, duck feathers ventilate excellently. In addition, the cotton ticking and feathers ensure that the moisture you lose during sleep is well absorbed. This makes a duck feather pillow a nice cool pillow. The box pillow measures 50x60x14 cm and fits in a standard pillowcase of 60x70 cm.
Washing and care
You can wash the down pillow yourself if necessary, but it is important to dry the down pillow in the dryer for more than three hours. However, we recommend having the pillow cleaned by a specialized company. The use of a good molton pillowcase is highly recommended. With a molton pillowcase, you significantly extend the lifespan of your pillow. In addition, sleeping with a molton pillowcase is hygienic and dust mite-free.
