Ordering Online, Very Easy!

shopping cart Step 1

Use our website to explore our products in detail. By following the menu, you will be guided step by step in a clear and pleasant way, with helpful information and advice along the way. If you already have specific preferences, simply use our filter. Based on your preferences, we will present our range in a clear overview. If you already know exactly which product you are looking for, use the search field (at the top right of your screen) and enter a search term. If you would prefer personal advice or help placing your order, you can use the live chat (bottom right). You can of course also call us or send an email.

Once you have made your choice, first select an option and then click the ‘Add to cart’ button. Your shopping cart will appear on the screen with an overview of your order. You can still make changes here — nothing is final yet. If you would like to complete your order, click the ‘Proceed to checkout’ button. To return to the webshop, click the ‘Continue shopping’ button.

If you would like to view your order at any time, click the shopping cart icon at the top right of your screen.

secure online payment Step 2

Once you have finished shopping and would like to complete your order, click the ‘Proceed to checkout’ button in your shopping cart or select the ‘Checkout’ option in the menu at the top right of your screen. Fill in the order form completely (if you are already logged in, this will of course not be necessary). You can pay for your order immediately when using iDEAL, MasterCard, Visa/Maestro or Mister Cash. Select your preferred payment method. If you would prefer to pay at a later time, select ‘AfterPay’ or ‘Bank transfer’ under the payment options. You can also choose to collect your order in person and pay in our showroom by debit card or cash. In that case, select the option ‘Collection by appointment’.

Check Step 3

Please carefully check the information you have entered at each step and submit the form in the final step by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button. You will then see a confirmation message on your screen indicating that your order has been successfully placed, and you will have the option to print and/or save the order confirmation. At the same time, a confirmation email will be sent to you containing the details of your order and a link that allows you to track your order.

Changing an Order

Once an order has been placed, it normally can no longer be changed. Our order processing system is fully automated. If you discover a mistake in your order, please contact us immediately by phone. We are available Monday to Friday during office hours. It may still be possible for us to intervene and place your order ‘on hold’. Please note: any change to your order must always be confirmed in writing to avoid misunderstandings.

Secure Shopping

As online shopping continues to grow in popularity and more webshops appear, it is important to pay close attention to where you shop. To protect sensitive information such as your payment details, we use a secure internet connection. With a secure connection, the website address begins with https:// instead of the usual http://. The letter ‘s’ stands for ‘secure’. You will also see a small padlock icon in the address bar, and the address bar may appear highlighted.

Payment Options

At Weids Living & Sleeping you can choose from several payment methods. In many cases, your payment is processed by MultiSafepay (www.multisafepay.com). MultiSafepay is our payment provider and all payments such as iDEAL, Visa/MasterCard and bank transfers are handled through MultiSafepay. You will therefore see this name on your bank statement.

If you use internet banking with ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, ING, Rabobank, RegioBank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank or Van Lanschot Bankiers, you can pay directly with iDEAL. This allows you to complete your payment quickly and easily within the familiar online banking environment of your own bank.

iDEAL QR
Paying with an iDEAL QR code is also possible. An iDEAL QR code can be scanned with any smartphone.

Bank Transfer
You can also choose to transfer the invoice amount to our bank account: NL98 RABO 0321 1353 18 (Rabobank) in the name of Weids Living & Sleeping in Bitgum. Please note! Clearly mention your name and order number when making the payment.

Riverty – Secure and Trusted Pay Later
If you find online ordering a little uncertain, you can choose Riverty (formerly AfterPay). With Riverty you can pay safely after receiving your order. Riverty handles the entire pay-later process on our behalf. You will receive a digital payment request by email from Riverty and then have 14 days to pay. At Weids Living & Sleeping you can use this option for orders up to €2500. Please note! Payments via Riverty incur additional costs for us (3.5% of the purchase amount).

Please note! Pay later is not always possible. It partly depends on the value of your order and your payment history with Riverty. To approve your request, Riverty performs a data check. Riverty applies a strict privacy policy as described in its privacy statement. For more information about this payment method, please visit the Riverty website. For questions about your payment you can also contact Riverty directly.

In3
In3 is the only instalment payment method without interest, loans or BKR registration. You pay in three instalments within 60 days. The first instalment is paid immediately via iDEAL. The second instalment is paid within 30 days and the third instalment 30 days after that.

Why can’t I pay with Pay Later or In3?
If your payment via Riverty or In3 (payment in three instalments) does not go through, please contact them directly. Due to privacy regulations we cannot see the reason for the refusal. Often the reason relates to the order amount or your order/payment history. If your request to pay with Riverty or In3 is unfortunately not authorised, you can of course choose one of the other available payment methods.

KBC
KBC stands for Kredietbank ABB Verzekeringen CERA Bank. The bank is also active in Eastern Europe. KBC collects savings, provides loans and operates as an insurer. In Wallonia the bank operates under the brand name CBC.

Delivery Time

In the Netherlands, if your order is placed and paid for before 16:00, it is often delivered the next working day. Each product page displays the current stock status. In stock means that the item can be dispatched the same day.

If a product shows, for example, Delivery time 10–15 working days, this means that the item has been ordered from the manufacturer and is expected soon. As we also operate a physical showroom and store, it may occasionally happen that the online stock status is not immediately updated. If this occurs, you will of course be informed straight away. Within Europe we maintain an average delivery time of 1–3 working days.

Be patient, understanding, and kind in your judgment.

Love one another.

Delayed Delivery

At checkout, you can select a ‘delayed date’ if you would prefer your order to be delivered on a specific day. However, this is not a guaranteed delivery date. If it is crucial that your order arrives on an exact date, please contact us to confirm. If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we will of course inform you in good time.

Shipping or Delivery

We make a distinction between shipping and delivery. Duvets, pillows, bed linen, mosquito nets and similar items are shipped as parcels (with a maximum allowed size of 300 cm).

Items that do not fit in a box, such as beds, mattresses, slatted bases, wardrobes and similar products, are delivered to your home by a transport company (using a lorry). The costs for delivery via large transport are naturally much higher than shipping via a parcel service. You can read more information about delivery costs further below.

1. Parcel Shipping

For the shipment of our parcels we work together with DPD, GLS and DHL. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation from the carrier by email including a track and trace code (please also check your spam folder if necessary). This email will contain all information regarding the delivery of your order.

You can also click the link in this email if you are unable to receive your order on the proposed day and time slot. This allows you to schedule a new delivery appointment or select a parcel shop near you where you can conveniently collect the package yourself.

Please note! If you choose delivery to a parcel shop, it is not guaranteed that your package will be delivered to that specific location. Especially during busy periods, it may happen that the courier has to redirect the parcel to another nearby parcel shop if the selected one is already full.

Package Delivered

If your package shows the status as delivered but you have not (yet) received it, you have 24 hours to contact us with any questions regarding the delivery of your order. After this period, it will no longer be possible for us to process your complaint.

Shipping Costs for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany

Shipping is FREE for orders with an invoice amount of €50 or more. For orders with an invoice amount between €25 and €50, we cover part of the shipping costs. In this case, your shipping cost will be €4.95. For orders up to €25, a shipping fee of €7.95 applies. For shipments to the Wadden Islands (NL), a standard fee of €15.95 is charged. For orders of €50 or more, this cost is reduced to €7.95, and we cover the remainder.

Shipping Costs to Other Countries

Shipping costs to other countries vary depending on the destination. Please select the destination country at checkout. An estimated shipping cost* will be added to your order. If your country is not listed or no cost is displayed for international shipping, please contact us. The shipping costs for international orders are indicative, as they depend on the size and weight of the package. We will contact you with the exact shipping cost if it differs significantly from the estimate. You can then decide whether to proceed with the order/shipping or cancel it.

Attention! Drop-off Permission

If you have instructed the parcel carrier to leave your order in a specific location when you are not at home, please ensure that the chosen spot is suitable and safe. We are not responsible for any damage, theft, loss, or other issues related to the contents of the package when drop-off permission has been granted.

2. Delivery (Transport)

Items that cannot be shipped as a parcel (e.g., furniture, beds, mattresses, etc.) are delivered via our own transport. For this, we work together with Hoekstra BV. Within the Netherlands, delivery is 50 euro for orders with an invoice amount of €750 or more. For orders with a total invoice amount from €500 to €750, a contribution of €75 applies. For orders between €250 and €500, the contribution is €100. For orders under €250, the contribution is €125.

However, the delivery costs are indicative. This is because transport costs are determined by factors such as the size and weight of the goods. We therefore reserve the right to deviate from this amount if, due to circumstances (of any nature), transport costs turn out to be significantly higher than usual.

In such cases, we will contact you immediately regarding the exact delivery costs. You will then of course decide whether you want to proceed with the order/delivery or prefer to cancel it.

Prefer to know the delivery costs in advance?

Send us an email. Please mention which item(s) it concerns and the delivery address, so we can calculate an exact price for you. You can then decide whether to agree or not.

Paper Recycling Sustainable Packaging

Since we sell almost everything from stock, we receive a large number of packages daily. Everything also arrives from the factories in boxes. We see ourselves as a sustainable company, and in this context, we aim to recycle as many of these boxes as possible. So it may happen that your order is delivered in a used box. Of course, we only choose boxes that are still of sufficient quality for shipping. Ensuring our products arrive safely takes priority! Naturally, the packaging may not always look perfect upon receipt, but we hope you can support our choice in this matter.

Preferred Delivery Time

When checking out your shopping cart, you have the option to specify a preferred delivery time. Please note that this is not a guaranteed date. Delivery always depends on the pace and workload of our carriers. Especially during busy months, delays may occur. For large transport, we will always contact you in advance to arrange a delivery appointment. We will of course consider the delivery date you provide, but sometimes our delivery route may not allow for it. In that case, we will propose an alternative date. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Order Status

If you have a question about the status of your order, please log in to 'my account'. If you created an account AFTER completing your order, that order will not appear in your account. If you do not have an account with us, please send us an email. Be sure to include your name and order number. You can find your order number in the order confirmation email that you received immediately after completing your purchase.

14-Day Viewing Period

Weids Living & Sleeping offers a 14-calendar-day viewing period. This means you have ample time to assess the quality of the item you ordered. Within this period, you may cancel the purchase. After cancellation, you have 14 calendar days to return the product at your own expense and risk. Once the viewing period expires, the purchase agreement becomes final. Please note: a viewing period is not the same as a trial period.

A viewing period allows you to inspect an item as you would in our showroom. Naturally, we expect you to handle the item with care. Any reduction in value caused by using the product in a way you would not in our store may be charged to you. For mosquito nets, bed, and bath textiles, these must not be completely removed from their packaging. You may open the packaging to see and feel the fabric, but removing the item entirely from its packaging is not necessary. Doing so will void its resale value, as we can no longer sell it as new.

Click here for more information on your right of withdrawal. Click here for the return form.

Exclusions to Viewing Period and Return Rights

Purchases made in our showroom/store are not covered by the viewing period, as you have ample time and space to inspect and test items on-site. The right to return does not apply to items specially ordered for you or made to your custom specifications, including size or colour.

Service & Guarantees

Always check the delivered item(s) immediately upon receipt for any damage, defects (correct size, colour, etc.), and/or completeness of the delivery. Any defects or missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of receipt by email. Claims made after 24 hours will no longer be processed by Weids Living & Sleeping.

Always keep the packaging/shipping boxes. In the case of an incomplete delivery, we can almost always verify the completeness based on the box dimensions.

If the item is delivered by a transport company (beds, mattresses, furniture, etc.), report any damage directly to the driver/courier. They will note this on the delivery receipt. Complaints about missing or damaged items cannot be processed by Weids Living & Sleeping if the delivery is signed for without comments.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee

We are confident in the quality of our products, and we want you to be too. When buying online, this isn’t always easy, and we understand that. Therefore, for purchases with the badge shown below, we offer a 'Not Satisfied = Money Back' 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not convinced (which we hope you are!), you may return the item for FREE. We will refund the full purchase price plus return shipping costs within 3–5 business days on average. Return shipping costs are reimbursed only if you register the return within 24 hours of receipt via our online return form and for returns within the Netherlands. For returns from other countries, please contact our customer service first.

100% satisfaction guarantee

Product Warranty

Weids Living & Sleeping follows the warranty conditions agreed upon by the Central Trade Association for Home Furnishings, including the Consumers’ Association. Standard product warranty is 3 years on a depreciation basis: in the first year, full costs for repair or replacement are covered, including shipping; in the second year, 2/3 of the costs are covered; in the third year, 1/3 of the costs are covered.

The manufacturer determines whether a product is repaired or replaced under warranty. This warranty only applies to damage or defects caused by material or manufacturing faults. Normal wear and tear is not covered. The buyer is required to act responsibly, including proper maintenance and careful handling. Warranty claims are void if the product is misused (e.g., using a mattress on the floor, on a plank, or on a worn bed base), visibly soiled, exposed to moisture, or damaged.

If repair or replacement is not possible, the purchase price will be refunded in full within the first year. After that, depreciation applies: 33% in the second year and 66% in the third year. Deviations in colour, durability, texture, or other features that are technically acceptable according to current standards or common trade practices may limit or exclude warranty or compensation rights.

Certifications & Labels

Nomite certification

The NOMITE certification indicates that the product is suitable for people with house dust mite allergies. The down- and feather-proof cover material provides extra protection, preventing mites from entering. Even if you are allergic to dust or have asthma, you can still enjoy the natural comfort of down and feathers. This is supported by scientific research. Read more about the Nomite label here.

Oeko-Tex certification

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a testing and certification system for textiles, focused on limiting the use of harmful substances to protect the health of the end user. While primarily concerned with health, the guidelines also overlap with environmental sustainability. Read more about the Oeko-Tex label here.

Woolmark certification

Woolmark is a trademark of AWI (Australian Wool Innovation Limited). Producers of wool products such as clothing, bedding, upholstery, curtains, and carpets may use this mark if the product meets AWI standards. Woolmark is only used for 100% pure new wool. AWI also manages Woolmark Blend (50–99% wool) and Woolblend (30–49% wool). Introduced in 1937 by the International Wool Secretariat, the mark guarantees the quality of wool products. Read more about the Woolmark label here.

Downafresh certification

The Downafresh certification ensures that manufacturers follow strict animal welfare standards. Material origin is documented and periodically checked by an independent institute. Downafresh also guarantees that filling material meets EN 12935, meaning it is carefully cleaned and dried at at least 100°C. Down products are produced without aggressive disinfectants and are fully biodegradable. Read more about the Downafresh label here.

GOTS certification

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) ensures that organically grown fibers, such as cotton or down, are processed into sustainable textiles. It sets requirements for chemical use, factory processes, and also addresses labour standards, following International Labour Organization norms. Read more about the GOTS label here.

RDS certification

Down products certified under the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) meet strict animal welfare requirements. The down comes only from healthy ducks and geese that live without pain, fear, or stress. The entire supply chain is traceable and periodically checked by the independent certifier Control Union. Only products with certified down carry the RDS logo. Read more about the RDS label here.

Downpass certification

The DOWNPASS shows that the down and feathers used in bedding and pillows are ethically sourced and undergo strict quality control. Producers must guarantee that only material from farms monitored for animal welfare is used. Both announced and unannounced inspections are carried out at the farms, prohibiting live-plucking and other unethical practices. DOWNPASS products also undergo post-market quality checks under notarial supervision, ensuring accurate labeling and material composition. Violations can lead to the label being revoked. Read more about DOWNPASS here.

EU Ecolabel certification

The EU Ecolabel is the European environmental certification for products and services, promoting sustainable production and consumption. It covers reduced environmental impact in raw materials, energy, water, harmful substances, waste, and packaging. Recognised across the EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland. Read more about the Ecolabel here.

FSC certification

FSC-certified wood is produced according to strict rules on legality, environmental protection, and the rights and welfare of local people and workers. The FSC system ensures forests are preserved for the future. In tropical rainforests, only a limited number of trees may be harvested per hectare every thirty years, and replanting helps maintain sustainability. Studies show FSC positively impacts forests and local communities. Read more about the FSC label here.
