A cold foam mattress topper is essentially a 'thin' mattress designed to increase comfort and/or conceal the seam between two mattresses. Mattress toppers are increasingly being purchased for campers, caravans, or boats. Often, these mattress toppers need to be custom-made. Mattress Core

Cold foam has an open structure, ensuring excellent ventilation. As the material is entirely synthetic, it is less susceptible to external influences (pressure, moisture, salts, acids, and fats). Furthermore, cold foam is mold-resistant, germicidal, and flame-retardant. The core of this cold foam mattress topper is approximately 5 cm thick. The total thickness of the mattress topper is approximately 7 cm.

Latex vs. Memory Foam vs. Cold Foam

• Cold foam is firmer than latex and provides more counter-pressure. A cold foam mattress topper is recommended if you prefer a firmer mattress.
• Latex has more resilience (provides counter-pressure) than memory foam. This allows your body weight to be well distributed and supported by the latex topper. Additionally, your body will experience little to no counter-pressure. Latex is a pleasantly flexible mattress.
• Memory foam, on the other hand, conforms completely to the contours of your body, making you feel like you are sinking into the mattress rather than lying on top of it. Memory foam is therefore an extremely soft mattress.
  The 'molding' effect of memory foam, combined with its dense cell structure, makes memory foam warm.
• Cold foam is firmer than latex and its temperature regulation is between that of latex and memory foam. A latex mattress topper offers the best ventilation and therefore sleeps the coolest.

An ideal combination

Please note: It is important that the current mattress on which you place a mattress topper provides sufficient support and is not sagging. If the mattress underneath has a dip, placing a topper on top will be ineffective. If your current mattress needs replacing, invest in a good mattress first. We are happy to advise you.

The mattress topper cover

This comfortable mattress topper comes standard with a fine mattress cover. The mattress cover is double-woven, quilted, and filled with 300 grams of Dacron. For even more sleeping comfort, we offer you a choice of several variants, each with its own specific properties:

• Cool & Fresh Ticking
  This is specially developed to stay cool and fresh. It is a well-ventilated ticking that also regulates body temperature effectively. This filling provides wonderfully soft comfort and excellent ventilation.
• Bamboo Ticking
  Thanks to the bamboo fibers, the mattress ticking acts like air conditioning, cool in the summer and warm in the winter! Bamboo fibers have a highly absorbent porous structure that allows the fabric to absorb moisture and perspiration more easily and quickly than cotton or (semi)synthetic fabrics. Bamboo textile is a very comfortable, silky soft, environmentally friendly, bacteria-fighting, quick-drying, and cooling material. Bamboo naturally contains a unique component that prevents and eliminates fungi and harmful bacteria.
• Tencel Ticking
  The Anti-Allergic Tencel mattress cover offers the ideal solution for people sensitive to allergens. Tencel® is 100% natural and environmentally friendly, absorbs 2 times more moisture than cotton, is cooling, 3 times stronger than cotton, and is silky soft, supple, and luxurious. Additionally, Tencel is naturally antibacterial without chemical additives. Because Tencel® wicks away moisture so effectively, bacteria have no chance to grow, and your mattress cover stays fresh and clean longer. Thanks to its anti-allergy, anti-dust mite, and antibacterial properties, you can now enjoy a good night's sleep on your own mattress worry-free.

Equipped with Zipper

The mattress cover has a 3-sided zipper, allowing you to easily zip it around your mattress core. The mattress cover is washable at 60 degrees, but we recommend 40 degrees. Especially if the washing machine is very full, the temperature in the washing machine often gets much higher, and the last thing you want is for the cover to shrink. Our mattress covers are made in the Netherlands and meet strict production requirements. This mattress cover is free of toxic substances, hypoallergenic, and free of bacteria and dust mites.

3D Ventilation Band and Piping

The mattress cover is double-woven and quilted, ensuring good ventilation. As an additional option, this can be further reinforced with an extra 3D ventilation band with a honeycomb structure, which is then applied around the mattress ticking. This is highly recommended for hygiene and durability. For the shape retention of the mattress topper, we recommend piping.

What is a split topper?

A 2-person mattress topper with a split (has a cut at the top and bottom) is suitable for adjustable bases and ensures that both bed bases can move freely and independently of each other. A split topper is custom-made to the customer's order and therefore cannot be returned. The right of withdrawal does not apply in this case.
