Kapok is a 100% natural product, a natural fiber without artificial additives. Kapok is a plant down (from the kapok nut) consisting of a naturally hollow fiber, making it extremely suitable as a filling for, among other things, pillows. Kapok as pillow filling is always carded. You could also comb kapok, but then you lose volume and resilience. Thanks to the carded kapok, a kapok pillow is perhaps the best shapeable pillow. It's lovely to 'punch up' the pillow to the desired height with your shoulder. Nestling your head into it and then sleeping soundly.
A kapok pillow is also ideal for people who sweat a lot. The waxy protective layer around the hollow fiber ensures that excess perspiration is immediately wicked away and prevents the kapok fiber from absorbing moisture. Thanks to this protective layer, kapok is also naturally antibacterial.
Box pillow
