Artic 15% Duck Down 4-Season Duvet-King Size (240 x 220 cm)

The Artic down 4-season duvet consists of 2 parts. A wonderfully light and airy summer duvet (warmth class 4) and a spring/autumn duvet (warmth class 3). Both duvets together make it a super comfortable and warm down winter duvet (warmth class 1). You can easily connect the summer duvet and the spring/autumn duvet using pillow ties. The spring/autumn duvet is cassette stitched with upright baffles to prevent cold bridges. The summer duvet is square stitched. The square stitching keeps the duck down and feathers together in nice compartments.

The Artic duvet is filled with 15% white European duck down and 85% duck feathers. If you prefer a heavier down duvet, this is the right duvet for you. If you are looking for a lighter duvet, we can highly recommend the Suverein duvet. The Suverein duvet is filled with 90% duck down. The rule is: the higher the down percentage, the lighter the duvet.

The wonderfully soft 100% percale cotton cover (NM70) guarantees optimal sleeping comfort. The duvet molds itself nicely and flexibly around the body. The quality of the cover, in addition to the quality of the down, is one of the most important reasons why you should choose this Artic duvet. Anti-allergy and free from house dust mites

This wonderfully down-filled four-season duvet is ideal for people with a house dust mite allergy. Because down ventilates well, an unfavorable living environment is created for house dust mites (house dust mites thrive in humid environments). The cover of the Artic duvet has the NOMITE and Oeko-Tex quality marks. The NOMITE quality mark indicates that you are dealing with a product suitable for people with a house dust mite allergy. The Oeko-Tex quality mark guarantees that this duck down duvet is free from harmful substances that pose a risk to human health. The Artic down duvet is washable up to 60 °C and suitable for the dryer. More than enough to be anti-allergenic!

Downafresh® Greenline and DOWNPASS quality marks

The Downafresh® greenline label is a quality mark from the European Down & Feather Association (EDFA). This is an association of the most important down and feather processing companies in Europe. The label unites manufacturers who adhere to the code of conduct regarding animal welfare. This quality mark also guarantees:

• that the filling material meets the hygienic requirements of EN 12935.
• that no aggressive agents were used in production and that the filling material is biodegradable after its period of use.
• that the origin of the filling material is documented and that the filling material does not come from 'live plucking' (independently checked by IDFL).

In addition, this duvet also has the DOWNPASS quality mark. The DOWNPASS shows that the down and feathers from waterfowl (ducks and geese), used as filling material in duvets and pillows, have been obtained in an ethically responsible manner and are also subjected to strict quality control.

Origin

All down and feathers processed by our supplier originate from (primarily Dutch) slaughterhouses. This means that this down and feathers come from ducks and geese raised for consumption, then slaughtered, and only then are they stripped of their down and feathers. Down and feathers are not the primary products of the duck or goose; the meat is the main product.

This wonderfully full down pillow is nicely firm, filled with approx. 1400 grams of duck feathers. This makes the pillow nice and high and firm. This pillow has a double cover, which prevents feathers from poking through the fabric. A wonderful pillow for a very good price!
